Just when you thought you had it all figured out, a question is proposed to you that makes you really think.
While reading my book today the topic was, knowing what is important to you and knowing your purpose. I thought I had a pretty good idea as to what was important to me, but never really thought what my purpose was. So after reading the section I decided to make a list, “What’s Important To Me?” and “What Is My Purpose?” I had quite a hard time creating this list. The thoughts in my head weren’t exactly easy to write down. The feelings I had couldn’t quite manifest their way into words. At our age, being fairly new out of college, I am sure we are all still in search of who we are. This is a great time to figure that out and a great exercises to help with that process. Don’t feel bad if you can’t come up with anything to put on your list right away, its not that easy and I am sure there are plenty older adults who are still struggling with the same questions. But our generation and the times in which we are coming into age give us a greater advantage than our parents and grandparents time. So if your feeling a bit lost and not sure which way your life is headed, try making a list of these two question. Put them on separate pieces of paper and post them somewhere you will see them often. As the answers come to mind jot them down and the visual will be a constant reminder.
