Would You Like Your Own Personal Stylist?

As we start a new month and begin a new season we must embrace not only the change from within in but also the outer change, through FASHION.  This past week I had the pleasure of meeting up and coming fashion stylists Paige Jeter and Naya Taylor of Elle & Anya Styling out of New Jersey.  These two young ladies, with their unique personalities and style are sure to bring the fashionista out of you.  Their purpose is NOT to change you but rather assist you embrace that inner glam diva.Paige Jeter believes your style is apart of your way of life. “Fashion is not just clothing to me it's a way of life. It's how you carry yourself, how you feel in your clothes, and you making the outfit not the outfit making you.” Naya Taylor believes that a person’s wardrobe reflects their attitudes and spirits. Sometimes all it takes is a fresh new wardrobe to help brighten up someone’s day.

LCC had the honor of interviewing fashion stylists Paige and Naya; here is what they had to say:

1. What inspired you to become a fashion stylist?

When it comes to fashion sense, many people have an idea but struggle with the execution. We aspired to build up women and their confidence, through beauty and fashion. The responsibility of creating peoples images is what gives us our drive!

2. What is your personal unique style?

We have no specific style; our mood is my style. We dress how we feel, and everyday we are someone different. We can range from lace and pink to studs and leather.

3. How do you bring out the fashionista in someone?

People express the most confidence when wearing something they are comfortable in. We emphasize on individuality, our only job is to polish and enhance the image that already exist.

4. What are your future plans in business?

Our goal is to have Elle & Anya Styling evolve into a major Fashion/ Beauty empire. This empire will have fashion stylist, make up artist, hair stylist, and photographers.

5. What are 5 items every woman should have in their wardrobe?

Every woman should have boot cut jeans in a dark wash, the jeans give you the laid back feeling you desire and the dark wash gives you the versatility to dress them up.  White blouse or button up, black pencil skirt, a plain black pump or flat, and a black blazer these are timeless pieces that can be paired with anything,. All of these items are important staple pieces and create unlimited options for outfits.

These are two ambitious young ladies who understand that fashion is a way of expressing yourself and making sure your outer beauty matches with your inner beauty. Elle & Anya Styling has one unique goal, and that is to make sure that every client feels confident and embraces their individuality.
