Every day we are forced to make decisions. Some are harder than others but it is those decisions that move us emotionally that gives us the hardest time to make. Lately, I have been forced to make tough emotional decisions and it’s taking a toll on me. I know I am doing the best that I can but still, making decisions can be tough. Normally, anxiety kicks in, the ‘what ifs’ pop up, you automatically think of the worst, and the list of negatives begin to spruce when you’re forced to make a tough decision. But how do we move forward? How do we ultimately decide which decision to make?
For starters, think of possible consequences that may occur; weigh out the outcomes. Listen to your intuition. Deep down we always know what we SHOULD do but we do not always follow that voice. However, that voice is there for a reason. Listen to it; try to understand what it is saying and why it is saying it. Think of the people that you will affect. What will this decision do for your future? Life is about taking chances and risks and really you won’t know until you try, but is it worth it? Making tough decisions are never easy and they probably never will be but it will be up to us, the individual, to just think and try to make the best decision that we can at that time. And at the end of it all, it will always be a lesson learned.
